1 bottle (12oz) pale lager beer (I used Tecate to stay with our Mexican theme)
-
2 tsp garlic powder
-
8 oz Mexican shredded cheese (reserve 2 Tbsp)
-
½ cup diced jalapeños (reserve 1 Tbsp)
-
½ cup chopped green onions (reserve 1 Tbsp)
-
3 Tbsp butter (melted)
Tools Needed from your kitchen
Gather Together:
Directions
Preheat Oven to 375 degrees F
Pour the contents of the packet into a medium bowl.
Add the garlic powder, cheese, jalapeños, green onions and stir to blend together.
Pour in the beer all at once and mix all together. The dough will be sticky.
Scrape the dough into the prepared pan. Drizzle with the melted butter.
Bake for about 40 minutes, then remove the bread from the oven and sprinkle the reserved ingredients (cheese, jalapeños, and green onions on top.
Bake the bread for an additional 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for about 15 - 20 minutes.
Slice, serve & enjoy! Serve with chili, BBQ or just smeared with butter! Yum…..
a dash of the magic & fun!
