Everything Beer Bread w/Sautéed Onions
Easy & delicious....a great bread to serve with your appetizer platter and even better served with soups, stews & BBQ.
Saute the onion in the 3 Tbsp butter, low & slow until lightly caramelized.
Preheat Oven to 375 degrees. Lightly spritz 8 x 4-inch baking pan with baking spray.
Add the sautéed onions to the beer bread mix when you add the beer. Stir well, scrape batter into prepared loaf pan. Pour the melted butter on top of bread.
Bake 55-60 minutes or until the top of the bread is lightly browned. Cool for about 10 minutes in the pan and then turn out onto a cooling rack and let cool completely.
Makes 10-12 servings.
