Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Swirl Cake
Pumpkin... a favorite flavor of Fall! Slice this delicious cake and place on a pretty white plate….dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate. This cake is delicious as is with no embellishments!
(3/4 Cup Milk, 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil, 2 Eggs)
1- 8 x 4 Loaf Pan lightly greased
1/4 cup buttermilk
3 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
For The Chocolate Swirl:
In a medium bowl, mix together buttermilk, cocoa and chocolate chips. Set aside.
Make pumpkin cake as directed on box….Add 1 cup of batter to the chocolate mixture.
Add pumpkin batter and the chocolate batter into your prepared pan….alternating both batters around to spread out the two flavors. Run a knife through the batters to gently swirl together.
Bake as directed about 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
